Each note unveils a priceless mystery
Each note unveils a priceless mystery (2007-2008)

The works in Each note unveils a priceless mystery project are based on Persian poetry and the landscape of Western Australia.
I whisper Persian words while I am taking the photograph or painting. The words do not always make a sentence or poem; they are however words in which I sense a connection between the spoken word and the image. Words and phrases are such as: endless, beginning, end, whirling, sometimes lost sometimes bright, path, world, invisible world, water, land and selflessness. I handwrite these words onto a corner of the image where the viewer can see water is neither floating nor still.
The words and the title of the project Each note unveils a priceless mystery come from a Persian poem “The Tavern Haunters” by Mahmoud Shabistari.
All the works are small in size, mixed media on canvas.
