I invited to be part of Multi-artist Studio Gallery Program- RESET at the Perth Centre for Photography in August and September 2020, and I decided to work on one of the ideas from my previous project Between Places that I completed at PICA in 2019.

On my way to Murray Street is based on analogue and multiple exposure photography and screen print. It shows my visual investigation on the relationship between places in the city of Perth and how I like to visualize spaces that could be interpreted as personal or individual spaces in public places.

In this project, I used the photographs that I took last year and exposed them with sunlight on the screen and printed in black.
Later in my studio, I looked at my printed images and felt that the printed images are not complete. I felt that there is something missing in my prints and I need to do something with them.

One of those days going to my studio at PCP, and walking in Murray street, I noticed and started feeling that things have been changed after the COVID19 in Perth. Thinking of what is happening in Perth, around the world, to people, to social relations and communications, made me decide to add a layer to my prints in order to complete my works and reflect my responses to the changes that I feel. I used a white coloured pencil and gently cover my images with white.
